How do I get started with XApp?
Getting started with XApp is simple! First, sign up for an account using your X (Twitter) credentials. Once logged in, you can immediately start collecting posts by using our search feature or entering a specific username. Our intuitive dashboard will guide you through the process.
What should I do after creating my account?
After creating your account, we recommend: 1) Connecting your X account for authentication, 2) Exploring the dashboard to familiarize yourself with the interface, 3) Starting your first post collection using our search or username collection features, 4) Reviewing our quick tutorial videos for advanced features.
What are the system requirements?
XApp works on any modern web browser including Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge. You'll need a stable internet connection and a valid X (Twitter) account for authentication. No additional software installation is required - everything works directly in your browser.
How do I create an XApp account?
Creating an account is easy! Click the 'Login with X' button on our homepage, which will redirect you to X's secure OAuth page. After authorizing XApp to access your basic profile information, you'll be automatically logged in and can start using all features immediately.
I can't access my account. How do I reset my password?
XApp uses X's OAuth authentication system, so there's no separate password to reset. If you're having trouble logging in, try logging out of X first, then log back in, and then try connecting to XApp again. If issues persist, contact our support team.
How do I delete my XApp account?
To delete your account, go to Settings > Account > Delete Account. This will permanently remove all your collected data, collections, and account information. This action cannot be undone, so please make sure to export any data you want to keep before deletion.
What does XApp cost?
XApp offers a free tier with basic features and generous usage limits. Our Premium plan starts at $19/month and includes unlimited collections, advanced analytics, priority support, and API access. Enterprise plans are available for larger teams with custom pricing.
Is there a free trial available?
Yes! You can start using XApp immediately with our free tier, which includes core features and allows you to collect up to 1,000 posts per month. You can upgrade to Premium at any time to unlock unlimited collections and advanced features.
What is your refund policy?
We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee for all paid plans. If you're not satisfied with XApp, contact our support team within 14 days of your purchase for a full refund. Refunds are processed within 5-7 business days.
How does post collection work?
XApp offers two main collection methods: Search-based collection (collect posts matching specific keywords or hashtags) and User-based collection (collect all posts from specific users). Our system respects X's rate limits and processes collections in the background, sending you notifications when complete.
What are the rate limits and how do they work?
We strictly adhere to X's API rate limits to ensure sustainable access. Free users have limits of 1,000 posts per collection and 5 collections per month. Premium users get unlimited collections with optimized rate limit management. Our system automatically queues requests and resumes collections when rate limits reset.
Can I export my collected data?
Yes! XApp supports multiple export formats including CSV, JSON, and Excel. You can export individual collections or your entire dataset. Premium users also get scheduled exports and API access for programmatic data retrieval.
How is my data protected?
We take security seriously. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest using industry-standard encryption. We only collect necessary data for the service to function and never sell or share your personal information with third parties. Our servers are hosted on secure, compliant infrastructure.
Is OAuth login secure?
Absolutely! We use X's official OAuth 2.0 implementation, which means your X credentials are never shared with us. The authentication happens directly with X's secure servers, and we only receive a secure token that allows us to access the data you've authorized.
What permissions does XApp need from my X account?
XApp only requests read-only permissions to access public posts and basic profile information. We cannot post on your behalf, access private messages, or perform any actions that modify your X account. You can revoke access at any time from your X account settings.
I'm having trouble logging in. What should I do?
First, ensure you're using a supported browser with cookies enabled. Clear your browser cache and try again. If you're still having issues, try logging out of X first, then log back in, and attempt to connect to XApp. If problems persist, contact our support team with your browser details.
My collection failed or stopped. Why did this happen?
Collections can be interrupted by rate limits, network issues, or changes in X's API. Most collections automatically resume when conditions improve. Check your collection status in the dashboard - if it shows as 'Failed', try restarting it. Contact support if you continue experiencing issues.
Why is XApp running slowly?
Performance can be affected by browser extensions, slow internet connections, or high system load. Try disabling browser extensions, clearing your cache, or switching to a different browser. Large collections may take time due to X's rate limits, which is normal and expected behavior.
